Applications

Industrial Liquid Filtration: high flow applications such as drill oil, water and any other application that requires a liquid-solid separation.
Food filtration (FDA): suitable to be in contact with food, following the requirements of the German BfR, Code of Federal Regulations Food and Drugs (FDA), EN 1186 and EN 13130. Recommended for the filtration of drinking water, juices, oils used in food processes, etc.
Air Filtration: highly fire retardant nonwovens for fume hoods in industrial and domestic kitchens. These filters can be stamped with a visual indicator of grease saturation in the filter (change of colour of the stamping). Possibility of supplying these filters in coils or other formats.

At Murtra Nonwovens we can supply our non-woven fabrics for air filtration with PEFC certification at the request of our customers and availability of raw materials.
