In Murtra Nonwovens we manufacture materials for the support of fleece for veneer and also decorative papers. Our supports are non-woven fabrics with high performance adhesive, with high adhesion capacity and resistance to humidity. They are versatile in their use and application mode, in order to be able to be used in all the machines available in the market, especially with continuous supports, with flat press and zizu machines to join sheet metal.

For special applications we have developed backing paper with a fire retardant finish. Since 2008 our manufacturing plant in Spain, TEFISA, is a member of AFEMMA (Spanish Association of Machinery Manufacturers).

Our products are certified with the FSC® seal, as a guarantee of our commitment to sustainability.

Applications

Continuous sheet metal supported for the manufacture of fences, mouldings and edges with PVA or PUR glues.
Supported with decorative papers to add thickness and improve the mechanical properties of the final product.
Supported sheet metal in flat press.
Union of sheets by the “ZI-ZU” system to obtain coils of supported sheet metal.
Sheet metal reinforcement to avoid manifesting the doors.
Support for the manufacture of flexible sheet metal for the board sector.

What makes us different

The use of our non-woven increases the flexibility and ductility of the wood veneers, avoiding problems of veneer breakage in successive processes such as edge manufacturing, moulding and other wood machining processes.

In the same way, when applied with decorative papers, it adds body and thickness to the final product, which allows creating surface finishes that would not be possible without using the reinforcing support.
