Once again, we present our Communication on Progress to consolidate our commitment to the United Nations Global Compact.
Murtra Nonwovens is a participant in the United Nations Global Compact and is firmly committed to upholding its Ten Principles and contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals. This commitment is renewed and reflected each year in the Communication on Progress (CoP), a document outlining the company’s actions and progress achieved.
More than 15,000 companies from 162 countries are affiliated with the United Nations Global Compact: it is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. Its goal is to set a strategy of best practices in the areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.
Our company has implemented the program MNW S.E.E.D PROGRAM (Sustainable Engagement & Environmental Development) ([link]), which serves as a guide to evaluate our processes and implement continuous improvements in four key areas: environment, people and society, circularity, and transparency.
Year after year, with this Communication, we reaffirm our commitment to ensure that the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact are part of the daily life of Murtra Nonwovens, our corporate culture, and our strategy.
Our Communication on Progress (CoP) is publicly available on the United Nations Global Compact website.
