Milestones Achieved by the S.E.E.D. Program

In 2022, we created the S.E.E.D. Program (Sustainable Engagement & Environmental Development) to lead the transformation towards a more sustainable and environmentally responsible business model.

Today, we can proudly say that the program has become the cornerstone of our journey toward a more sustainable and efficient way of working. During the first three years of the S.E.E.D. Program, we have achieved significant milestones and have aligned our processes with a stronger commitment to environmental responsibility.

We have expanded our production capacity with a more sustainable line, allowing us to reduce our environmental impact and move toward a more responsible production model. The MNW Sustainability Committee has grown to drive initiatives such as full life cycle assessments, monitoring our carbon footprint, and creating the double materiality matrix.

Regarding energy efficiency and sustainable practices, we have managed the removal of fiber cement from our building’s roof and installed solar panels. We are working on transitioning from fossil fuel-based equipment to systems powered by green energy. Additionally, we have improved our heat recovery plan and reduced energy consumption.

Our committee actively collaborates with international sustainability organizations, which we have joined to support global goals such as SDG 12 (Responsible Production and Consumption), SDG 13 (Climate Action), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). We hold the ISO 14001:2015 international certification and participate in global initiatives such as the Global Compact.

MNW remains firmly committed to clean and renewable solutions. Reducing environmental impact and optimizing resources is a continuous effort and a constant source of improvement.

For the MNW team, caring for the planet is not just a commitment; it has become a way of acting and existing.
