JOIN MURTRA NONWOVENS WAVE FOR SUSTAINABILITY
Guiados por los OBJETIVOS DE DESARROLLO SOSTENIBLE marcados en la agenda 2030 de Naciones Unidas, queremos jugar un papel relevante en el cambio y reducir nuestro impacto en el planeta.
At Murtra Nonwovens, we have created MNW S.E.E.D. PROGRAM (Sustainable Engagement and Environmental Development), a program that lays the foundations for this much-needed objective and at the same time sets in motion a global and committed action plan that we hope will allow us to meet the environmental challenges and those of our society.
It is a complex task that is not only demanded of us by Society and the environment, but also by our conscience towards future generations!
SEED in English means plant seed and we want this program to be the seed of change and link our sustainable commitment and our environmental development. The S.E.E.D. is based on 4 pillars that will give meaning to the word sustainability and will allow us to move towards:
GREEN MURTRA NONWOVENS
Circular Economy
Employees & partners
Green Communication
Transparency
MISSION
VISION
VALUES
SEED ACTION PLAN
From Murtra Nonwovens (Tefisa Spain and IMS Sweden) we continue to strengthen our actions in the search for disruptive and permanent solutions for the implementation of the SDGs and thus reverse the eco-crisis of our planet and our society.
We want this year to consolidate our business model at the forefront of business sustainability. Since the establishment of MNW S.E.E.D. PROGRAM (Sustainable Engagement & Environmental Development), actions of global scope have been extended throughout our organization. We have addressed these global challenges from four areas: Environment, Society and People, Circularity and Transparency.
New structural and organizational solutions are being implemented: ISO14001:2015, energy efficiency management to reduce CO2 emissions (solar panels, clean energy resources, optimization of water resources, waste management, carbon footprint, machinery upgrade), portfolio of sustainable materials, supply chain management, including suppliers with the ISO 14001:2015 standard, corporate social responsibility fighting for human rights, equality, equity and the fight against corruption.
Our involvement in this need for change is global, it goes beyond our company, we support the UN Global Compact to achieve the 2030 agenda and other initiatives such as Ecovadis, always integrating innovative solutions and promoting the collective impact to change positively the markets and the ecosystems.
